my grandfather was bob leininger. he played bass from when the band started, but then left before wwII broke out. anybody here know him?

1:00 - Check out those modern SLIM dynamic microphones they're using (any idea what those were?)... Considering most shoots STILL used those big 'ol RCA 77s or 44s ribbons.

@RicoSC1 I took lessons from stacy but he was much older then and I can't say for sure.

my grandfather was julian sparkes, sr. he played tenor sax. did anyone know him? he played for a short time with them.

still playing once a day,then on to the othe videos of les. don't know if ted nash is in the sax section, not clear enough. corky
