Woking Railway Station in 1986 with a good view of the signal box. Loco hauled class 33 push-pull services with a mix of BR blue 4vep and 4cep units (some still in BR blue carrying 'Network Southeast' markings). A number of class 33's can be seen in the siding at the end of the platform. 'Kent Coaster' units were also operating at this time. 33043 passes on a parcels service from Portsmouth plus an early liveried 4vep in Network Southeast can be seen. Finally 33113 departs with a push-pull working.
