  • how can u get rid of the hissing sound

  • @UnitedSerbs - There has been a firmware upgrade to the camera since I shot this video. It reduces, but does not completely eliminate the hiss. any new PICSIO camera should have this upgrade already, otherwise you can find the firmware upgrade on the JVC website. I've noticed that if you record at 720p, you do not hear hissing. It seems to be only in 1080p mode.

  • Many thanks for your video, i want to buy a DV, to shot Dance Lession upload to YOUTUBE ( fast movment as HipHop ). JVC Picsio FM1 was a good price, although its week in show function, But it looks smooth and colorfull then others ( expensive product ). Someone said its sound is poor, ist right ? Can you take a video under 720p (60f) - try to shot as someone dance movement, then nochange and upload to YouTube.......... MANY MANY THANKS FOR YOUR HELP.....

  • @r88class - Can't help with a dance video example, but can say the sound is pretty good. There was a firmware upgrade in December that helped make the sound clearer.

  • SJS... Thank you very much, that's a good

  • @SJS8495

Thanks for the tips! Now i just got to figure out how to use that dang iMovie...

  • Meghan - Picsio will work fine with a Mac. When you plug it into USB port, iPhoto will open and ask you which pictures (and movies) to import. If you need to edit a movie, you can use iMovie. The embedded software on the Picsio isn't Mac compatible, so it's just ignored. That's OK - iMovie is more better, anyway. Once movies are on Mac, you can upload straight to YouTube. - Have fun...

sorry. im not too familiar. im a newbie when it comes to cameras and computers. im currently using a macbook and planning on buying this camera.. does this mean i won't be able to use it on my mac?

  • Skate - thanks.

The battery isn't removable, so USB is only charging method. Video you see wasn't edited - I just let the camera run for 15 seconds or so - imported into iPhoto and then uploaded to YouTube. [Picsio's embedded SW isn't Mac compatible, so I don't know how useful it might be.] SJS
