"Volunteering in the study is basically helping the community to find a vaccine." ~ Eddie

Eduardo has lived in San Francisco for more than a decade, and he was born and raised in Mexico. He is a very busy man. He has a full-time job as a project manager in a product safety testing company. In his free time, he runs his own business, EcoRiffic, designing and wholesaling reusable bags made from 100% recycled plastic bottles. He also volunteers with the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition, the Friends of the Urban Forest, and he reads, eats dinner with friends, and loves to travel. He also speaks fluent Japanese.

Eduardo made time to volunteer because he believes a vaccine is particularly important for the Latino community, where HIV is a big issue, but very heavily stigmatized.
