노무현 추모곡 - 상록수 (김민기 곡, 빛바람 노래)

This video depicts the life of Rho Moo Hyun, the16th President of Korea. The short movie portrays his devotion to fighting for human rights as a lawyer and his passion for righteousness and justice as a national assemblyman of the country. The clip also shows his dramatic success on the presidential election and people's support including massive candle-lighting that helped him get over impeachment trials triggered by his opponents. The video covers Rho's life as an ordinary civilian in his hometown after leaving his office, but also contains images of his faces in agony due to the allegations of bribery on his family members. Despite the allegations and his tragic suicide hundreds of thousands of Koreans gathered and mourned at his funeral as seen on this video.
The background music "Sang-Rok-Soo" (Evergreen Tree) is known to be Rho's favorite song, which was written by Kim Min Ki, who expressed the social pains of public in music notes. The song was arranged by Kim's friend, Cho Dong Ho, who gives musical instructions to Bitbaram (Light & Wind or Lighty Wind), a vocal group that sings "Sang-Rok-Soo" in this video. The audio is live from Bitbaram's 12th Recital for Tomorrow on October 29, 2005 at Studio 70s in Seoul, Korea.
