Sony V1U Slow Motion Test Footage

I shot this as test footage for my new Sony V1U. The exploding bottle of red water was produced with a shot from my Ruger M77 Mark II .30-06 at 25 yards. Music is the Flower Duet. So far, I'm very happy with my new machine.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the A1 does the same slow motion thing. Look in the manual for "smooth slow record" mode.

Hi I'm wondering if you can alter smooth slow clips on windows movie make or flip through them 1 frame at a time on media player, or even the software that comes with the camera? Any thoughts are appreciated.

Of course its good for dvd (the fast motion) as long as you're coupling it with regular DV. If you splice it into an HD movie it's going to look awkward.

Hi, the a1 doesn't do the slow mo.

The camera had a 240 frames-per-second mode that I used for slow motion.

Does the video camera over-crank or do you slow the footage down with your software??

you should do some slow motion video of you shooting the ruger as well!
