@lionsrose - Interesting how Western culture separates humans from nature, while other cultures do/ did not. Most agree, but since cheetahs are highly endangered, (habitat loss, competition from other big cats, estrrme limited gene pool from near-extinction event in their past, etc) human intervention is the cheetahs best hope for survival.

...and then the cheetah kills everyone..

I love how the cheetah basically says "Fuck this, I'm lazy."

cheetahs are not as physically combat oriented as most of their competitors. lions, say. naturally, this causes them to be more inlinced to set up an aggressive display hoping to intimidate their opponent than come into contact with a larger predator, which results in more kills lost. does any of this indicate a non-aggresive disposition?

Cheetahs have been tamed & kept for enjoyment & hunting for thousands of years. In the wild they are amazingly non-agressive, giving up their kills rather than fighting other predators that want to steal their food. Cheetahs were so easy to catch as cubs & tame that no one bothered to domesticate them. That said, they don't really become box trained very easily, and stand to urinate (spray).
