FromTheGang - The Anime Polka

It just baffles me as to how much Japanese anime has influenced American cartoons. I'm not anti-anime or an anime fantard, I just can't believe how much it's influenced our media. As I've said before, we should just leave the anime to the Japanese (because they're much better at it than we are :P)

This is a song I wrote up a few years ago, and I just finally got around to recording it.

And no, I didn't pull all of this off the top of my head. I went onto several online manga websites and just wrote down which titles rhymed until I had enough of them to put into a song. Honestly, I haven't even heard of half of these shows/books before.

Also, I'm pretty sure I pronounce some of these wrong. Don't hurt me.

That's a nice polka song. It is set to the tune of the Can Can, and it reminds me of all those Disney musical numbers as well as various musical tunes that you cannot get out of your head for days on end.

I think this should be balanced with american cartoons done in an american style that we actually like. bugs bunny was good when I was 5 but not when you get older (and I don't think even kids like him anymore) cause honestly I can't think of any american cartoons done in american style that I'd want to watch (also can't think of any american cartoons done in american style still being made today that anybody watches) though starship troopers was the best, that wasn't technically a cartoon

@NEPAscallywag Osamu Tezuka (who created the "modern manga" style) Was inspired by the Disney Duck comics,and his fav chara was Scrooge McDuck, so yeah, the old school american comics and cartoons were his main inspiration.
