Metroid Prime 2: Echoes 100% Walkthrough Part 42 - Boss Battle Adult Chykka

Here's a walkthrough of me going through Metroid Prime 2: Echoes for Gamecube on Hard Mode. I am getting a 100% completion in both pickups and in logbook completion. Also, I'm using the normal route, no sequence breaking.

Here's Part 42 of my Walkthrough. I finish off the Chykka Larva, but it rapidly evolves to its adult state, which I find the hardest to take down. But when it turns into Dark Chykka, it becomes much easier.

I don't get it. You made the boost guardian look like it was nothing but the chykka adult is wearing you down..

There's nothing remotely difficult about this boss. You shouldn't even lose 2 tanks.

Does the Light Beam really work better in her Larva form? I beam spammin' the Power Beam for that. And saving the Light Beam just for its dark form.

In my next playthrough, I'll try the Light Beam on its Larva form more.
