This engine was build using the plans and drawings made by Elmer Verburg. The boiler and burner combination i designed myself, using a boiler of Don of Oregon,USA as an example.
The exact dimensions and materials used somewhat differs from the plans, to let it run on steam instead of compressed air.
The burner takes 2.5cc of spirit as fuel, and this will turn the 7cc of cold water into steam in 3 minutes. After this the engine can be started and will run for about 4 minutes. 1cc of water remains in the boiler after all the fuel has been burned.
The wobble of the flywheel can only be seen in the video, in real life it looks fine.

A brilliant enhancement to Elmer's engine design to include the integral boiler .... gives me ideas of attempting something similar with his slightly larger 'Fancy' engine. Thanks for sharing this.

A small lathe and mill are the main tools required.
