That was incredibly heartbreaking! I think it's interesting that you never see the husband's eyes or even much of his face... it makes him seem so lost... and the glimpse of his mouth gives the slightest bit of hope. We do not have Jaffacakes where I live, but if I ever see them, I think that I will cry in the store. That will be fun for the clerks at least... wondering what tragedy concerning Jaffacakes had befallen me in the past.
