Data Reduction Systems Improves Sales, Marketing and Customer Service with Microsoft Dynamics
Rick McQuade, President and CEO, Data Reduction Systems
Mark Chester, Vice President, Business Development, Data Reduction Systems
Rick McQuade: Data Reduction Systems is a document management company and we specialize in all different information management for large and small clients.
Mark Chester: You can see all the boxes surrounding us here, it's our job to take this information and digitize it to bring it into the PC world. We did use Salesforce.com and one of the things that we uncovered with that is that it was disconnected from our whole world. Everyone is living and breathing in Outlook everyday they have this disconnected entity that nobody ever, ever used properly. We noticed that we were using multiple applications that were outside of the CRM environment because Salesforce.com wasn't serving our needs properly. It was a failed CRM deployment.
Rick McQuade: Microsoft Dynamics CRM online has certainly improved the delivery of the real time data that we count on when we're running our marketing campaigns so that when we do product launches we see the real benefit of what happened just yesterday. Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online provides that value to us. We made a unanimous choice to leave our Salesforce.com platform because it was a much better connected solution with all the other Microsoft products such as Outlook. Since our implementation I feel that our upper management is much better connected with the sales group and the sales management.
Mark Chester: We're mobilizing our workforce that means we're pushing them out the door and we're giving them notebook computers, tablet computers, and saying "That's it. Go out." so that's where the hosted version comes in and it's really important. So now no matter where they are they can access all their information whether their disconnected on a tablet PC, working in an airport lounge or working from their home office but at least now I know that they're always connected to the environment and I don't have to worry about security concerns. This is going to be better for them that they can have customer support, customer service that they can have it at their fingertips—anything and everything about that customer at any time.
Rick McQuade: We've gained a lot of efficiencies internal here at Data Reduction Systems using Microsoft Dynamic CRM Online and I can tell you that our production group, our sales group, our client services group as well as our software development group certainly feel as though we're much better connected and we communicate much better using this product. Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online certainly offers an opportunity for clients to do quick deployment and immediately gain access to their important, valuable data. Our reputation in the industry is around gathering information very quickly and being able to report it. Microsoft Dynamics affords that opportunity to be able to deliver in a very quick time frame to our clients what they're expecting. It's live information.
Mark Chester: Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online is the tool that we're using to pull all this information together. And, again, we feel that this is going to benefit, not just ourselves internally, but this is going to be good for our customers in the long run. So bottom line, what we think that we're going to give is accessibility, portability, and success.
Rick McQuade: With Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online, we feel as though we're driving on the autobahn and everybody's communicating and connected within the organization.
