@Mrcool63 just like everything in ur home difference is u know ur dvd played ,tv food,it says on out made in china .chevy says there american and sub it alot to mexico and canada .So the money that stays here payes us back "bailout" and the rest go to the ceo's who don't own chevy .give me a break man chevy out sources assembly, parts after paying that whats left ? im not saying toyota's american but 80% parts come from here there built here jobs r here call it what u want.

@stephen4177 Money still goes back to the Toyota HQ in Japan...

@Fondyboi because the power stroke main plant is in mexico .I think its the dis belief they bought an import owned by an american company kinda like dodge its american but its owned by mercedes now fiat but some how dodge is american somehow lmao to funny .I think its better to say toyota supports america more than a chevy or ford at least toyota is making jobs rather than taking them.

@PowerstrokeForever So a japanese truck made in america is not american. but a truck made in mexico is american? how you figure that.

Tundra's on paper do weigh in more than a Silverado does 'n they were both stock so I can't say I didn't see that comin'. For everyone's info. I'm a Chevy guy.

@DeftonesFan867 Desperate times!! Yeh GM sure knows desperate times!! My point is GM did not from the ground up have the ability to design a decent Diesel. They needed a helping hand from Isuzu. In fact they needed a helping hand from all taxpaying Americans. Hows that for made in America ? Oh yeh where is Silverado built? What is the parts content of Silverado Check it out

@sm325861 I realize that Silverado's can get 300,000 but you were saying you never had an issue. 340,000 and never an issue is not possible. I know what parts you would have to replace on a Silverado to keep it going 340,000. We repair many a Silverado. Now do Asian imports break well yes but they tend to have very high miles in comparison to the domestic with the same repair. For instance GM fuel pumps OUCH !!!! what an insurance for us.

@utilitykiller1972 No. The bumper up front is metal and it's interior has been praised. Also take a look at the payload capacity/tow ratings of the GMT900 trucks, especially the HD's and tell me their not real trucks.
@zhypher23 i have driven trucks and owned trucks all my life and i do treat trucks like toys and beat the sh*t out of them because thats what trucks are supposed to do. my trucks that i treat like toys never had any problems besides that heap tundra. I need trucks that hold up to the abuse. I have all chevrolets in my fleet and 1 gmc. an 88 with 418k, an 88 with 387k, an 88 with 131 k, a 93 with 281 k, an 81 with 206 k, a 00 with 191 k, an 02 with 145k, and an 07 with 126k all on the road
