I spoke with retired Philadelphia Police Captain Ray Lewis and Officer Garcia of the NYPD about the Occupy Wall Street Movement right before demonstrators were allowed back into Zuccotti Park after their eviction on November, 15th.

  • Capt. Ray Lewis compassion almost makes me cry. Most often when you watch whats happening in the world you get sad, but he makes me smile and gives me energy and hope for humanity.

  • instead of hating and yelling at COPS if We love them and explain to them why we are here, there is no way they can fight against it, it actually makes a lot of Cops nervous when you tell them you love them and are supporting this movement for there children and futures. The Cops want people to scream and hate them, they like that, it justifies why there are there, but if you love them and try and educate them that is what truly shakes them up

  • This man lives by his oath to the people:

I WILL PRESERVE THE DIGNITY AND WILL RESPECT THE RIGHTS OF ALL INDIVIDUALS

  • You're either with the war on the poor, or a "traitor".

  • This officer was my friend's Captain. He often told me that he was a really good boss and an honest and fair captain. You don't find that too often on any police force and especially the Philly PD. The Philly PD is also very racist against Blacks and Latinos and many of the Black and Latino officers look at their own like the white racist cops do. But, there are good cops out there. It is sad that many officers look at their jobs as us against them.

  • amen brother

I salute you for standing up Ray,

in many ways its far harder for you, im sure you lost a lot of friends doing it.

  • @morsecode1977 and i believe you *scoffs*

  • @jbiddleston yknow i see a shitload of americans terrified of Socialism, well from what ive seen, most changes that get branded as socialist are actually good things. Granted, bailing out the banks is one fucking terrible example. My point is why be afraid of socialism when capitalism is failing MISERABLY.

  • @ButterflyDragon9 What!!?? Why do Americans, that are extremely ignorant, just blame "marxism" for everything that they dont like? Saying I am the 99% is not Marxist. And neither is saying that Corporate America is ripping us off. I am a capitalist, and a Business Owner. And in Capitalism, the banks should be allowed to fail, if this were truly a Free Market. The bailouts are Socialism, and so what does that make the ones that ordered the Bailout. These protesters are heroes!

  • @ButterflyDragon9 Everything he said was the truth. What does any of it have to do with Marxism? The cold war ended a long, long time ago bro. It's safe to come out of the bomb shelter.

    Fucking nut.
