The Fragile is my favorite album, and this and the original "The Frail" prove that Reznor has great compositional skill as well as a mastery of technology.

My favorite NIN's album is "The Fragile". I bought this only a couple of years ago. When I heard this version I felt an overwhelming feeling. I don't try to be funny but I even tought I would shit my pants with so much emotion. I can play this to all kind of people of all kind of places and even from diferent eras and belive me, everyone will feel something.

the combo of electro and strings is unfathomably epic. if the word epic truely does it justice.

The image i got in my head was all of the famous movie, book etc Robots coming together and committing suicide, like R2D2, walle, etc

@Ofuda Holy balls I just checked out The Flashbulb; thats some high quality stuff right there
Can anyone here point me to some songs similar to this one? I particularly enjoy the calm, contrasting with the creaks and whirs, and often listen to this with RainyMood in the background to add that extra layer.

@Albin0gh0st More or less all of the Still album by NIN is a good place to start. Calm, somber, really cool. Kind of like Ghosts if it was meant to be calm. Songs to start with are "Adrift and at Peace", "Leaving Hope" and "The Persistence of Loss."
As for other artists, give The Flashbulb a listen. He's a really eclectic guy who does everything from classical pieces to Breakcore, and he's probably one of my all time favorites. Not much of his stuff is on Youtube, so look around.
