I'm psyched about DVD sales. Can you please tell me what the total cost was, to get it up and running, like to get the proof mailed and so on? I understand the finished profit part, but not the initial investment cost. I looked on their site and it seems they don't want to tell you upfront.

@guest2424 There is no cost other than the cost it is to ship your dvd to them. As well as the cost of buying blank dvd-r and the cases to send the dvd in. You can get all that at wal-mart.

(cont)...is yours, and you set the price...I keep my book on create space at $14 and make less than my ebook which I sell for $8...but as you know, I only charge $5.00 for the CD, and since the customer pays the shipping, I get paid 3.80 per copy...there is no minimum (I've sold 3 books in the last few months and still haven't gotten a check because the min is $20) so every pay period they send you the money through paypal. It's pretty awesome...kunaki dot com ...you'll like it ;)

I use create space for my book also, because my cd/dvd company doesn't do books...but you need to check it out. A. you don't have to mail anything in, just download their software and upload everything to the site. There is no approval process...of course you want to make sure your product is good, but you aren't waiting on the process for them to approve your product...B.(est of all) the cost for them to make it, is only $1 to 1.75, depending how busy they are...so the rest of the profit...
