The Roaring Road (1919) was such a hit that it was soon followed by a sequel, Excuse My Dust! Although sequels were uncommon in the silent era, this one is a natural. Not only does the story pick up where the last one left off but the results actually top the original. Here, Todless at last married Dorothy and became a father. But he can 't avoid speeding so he gets his driver license suspended. However, soon Todless and his father in law find themselves involved in a cross country race to San Francisco.
