If this is supposed to represent what a Civil War batttle was like, it's surprising that either side won the war.

im glad you had fun cos that is my dream to do just that over here we have certan weakends that are to with ww2 but most dress up like bloody germans and i for one dont like it and the old folks houlm down the road realy dont like it all the old folk think they are at war again hahha bye the way i live near haworth wear the brontiy sisters are from haworth

Dean, Thanks. That ridge was the closest I could get and still be above the site. Lots of cuts and scratches from the sagebrush,,,,,still worth it.

The first phase of the V&T reconstruction just below Gold Hill where a large amount of fill was used to bring back the original grade, which had been breached significantly in the mid-20th century during mining ops. Known as the Overman Pit phase.
