Hermes Spring Summer 2007 Collection

Paris, 07 October 2006 -- There was a very summery feel to the collection designed by Jean Paul Gautier for Hermès, with an ultra sophisticated swimwear section worn with blazers and blouses. The operative hairstyle is a ponytail held together by a gold clasp and the models' eyes are protected by large sunglasses. The models parade in wrap around dresses and sarongs and carry the new Lindy bag, the next must have of the season. And for evening, chiffon and lace gowns complement this incredibly chic wardrobe.

I love the way Hermes shows are staged - the models, the idea, the poses, the music.. they all come together to make the viewer feel like a flaneur. How Parisian!
