Source Recorder Tutorial (HD)

Well, I'm showing, and telling how to use tha source recorder in source games from valve. (AND, IT IS PROBABLY HARD TO HEAR WHAT I SAY SOMETHIMES, I KNOW!)
I bet my english is not that good, since I am from Norway.. But.. Whatever.!
I used Team Fortress 2 in the video.
To record the video, I used Camtasia Studio 6.0. Check it out!

Steps: (type in, in console)

1. record game
2. stop
3. startmovie (name of the video) avi
(then choose quality and... blabla)
4. playmovie game
5 endmovie


FINISHED!!

okay so when you play the demo you can type playmovie in console and then type endmovie to stop it and then it will be saved as AVI?????

you'll have to type in: (moviename).avi

then it will be saved as avi

Hi, I would like to render my demo in 1080p, but I only have a monitor that supports resolutions up to 1680x1050. I've tried putting "-windowed -width 1920 -height 1080" in the launch options, but that just sets it to run in 1680x1050! Is there any way I can force it up into 1920x1080...?

when you make a movie obviously you can then view it in-game but how do you then go about uploading it on youtube? not quite understanding this.
