I decided to do a cover of the Monkees "Daydream Believer",
this is my first time singing and playing guitar in over a year,
and I haven't recorded a song in over 2 years.
I figured I'd make a music video for fun, and after a month + of work, This is the end result....

I love Razmig, and he's a great musician, he knows I have respect for him, but... You know the Monkees weren't even a real band? they were the American television network's response to The Beatles commercial success. They were basically the prototypical, 60's version of the jonas brothers. So... i don't have very much respect for them... The song, to it's credit, is pretty good though. I know it's a classic, and I should lay off, but still... The Monkees = the jonas brothers of the 60's.

@RhythmGrizz Of course I know they were a made for TV band, but the song itself was written by John Stewart of the Kingston Trio shortly before he left. The Monkees also were really good at comedy if that counts for anything, and won the respect of The Beatles. Check their wiki, there's a section about them meeting The Beatles on there. That aside, you also have to give them credit for trying to break off from the studios and do their own thing. Also, I enjoy flipping "cheap" pop songs for fun!
