Geoff Thompson, Program Director for Sunshine Coast Health Center, shares the third in a series of videos exploring Lessons for Recovery from Meaning Therapists. In this installment he discusses the work of Drs. Barbara Ballinger, Robert Matano and Adrianne Amantea including that what the addict really needs is to learn to be comfortable with negative emotions, because negative emotions are as much a part of life as positive emotions. A meaningful encounter with the therapist may allow the addict to experience how to connect deeply on an emotional level with others.
