some people were sadly brought up by far-right racists as parents and they cannot fathom how a person of color like Obama won the election. They must be wondering how he won vermont which is more than 90% white, Iowa which is more than 91% white, Oregon which is more than 85% white and so on. Fortunately the majority of Americans were voting based on the issues rather than the color of Obama's skin!!

Racists like you obviously are predictably hateful of Obama, so I'll give you a couple more reasons to hate him.
He is the first black President because of Blacks AND Whites- not to mention Hispanc and Asian Americans. Also, your assasination attempts will fail. God was in this election. He allowed Obama to become President for a purpose. This isn't blind optimism on the part of the nation, or simple happenstance. God wants Obama in office, and he will serve his full 4-8 years in office.

Thank God Barack Obama will represent the US to the world. My friends & I voted for him & volunteered for his campaign & we are white folks in our 60's. God help him in these extraordinarily difficult times in history. If anyone can help the nation pull through, it's President elect Obama. His victory also means that our country truly is the land of opportunity & equality. For the first time in a long time, I'm proud of our leader & the image of America. Go Pres. Obama!!!!
