@pila406 I'm not really surprised. The times I've seen him in concert his performances are almost entirely different than his official studio accounts. If you listen to the Schubert sonata from this same concert and compare it to his Sony recording, it's sounds so much fresher here. In the past his 'live' accounts of the Schubert Wanderer Fantasy and Chopin B minor sonata are night/day differences, as they so much more capricious and exciting.
