60 days from today, my brother, SGT. J. Barksdale will be coming home from Afghanistan.... I watch this video and pray for his safe return and all those who are fighting for freedom and democracy away from loved ones and friends.

Last week someone I love passed away due to injuries on her way to a fire, she was a fire fighter. I know this is about our armed forces (no matter what country your in) Just it makes me think, that now. She'll never make it home to me.. her family and won't see another day..
I fucking hate it but at least she's safe now.

I've always loved this song and this video is breath taking. Desert Storm Vet here and as I write this my cousin's unit is under heavy fire in Afghanistan. They've lost 9 soldiers in 4 days.

@DJKidbilly I appreciate the kinds words DJ, especially coming from a veteran. You have my entire and grateful thanks for your service for this country. And I'll pray that God watch over your cousin's unit and bring him and his entire unit home safely at the end of their tour, in addition to all of our men and women over their risking their lives for us every day.
