The St. Gallen Wings of Excellence Award is a worldwide known essay competition whereby graduate and postgraduate students can qualify for the participation at the St. Gallen Symposium.
To participate in the competition, applicants have to answer one of four questions related to the clusters of the 42nd St. Gallen Symposium's topic "Facing Risk" in an essay. An independent jury evaluates the 100 best essays. The editors are invited to attend the symposium which takes place from 3--4 May 2012 at the campus of the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland.
