I am german - if you come to Germany, take one day for yourself an drive down the A7. You can start form Flensburg and drive all the way down to for example Friedrichshafen.

Or/and the other way round. Flensburg - Friedrichshafen ~ 1000 km which is about 600 miles I think. It has long parts where you may drive as fast as you want :P - which is cool haha; and part of getting your driver's license. I had to push an Audi A3 to the limit ~ 230 km/h (140 mph) in driving school. ---> awesome ;)
