god thats alot of work :( is there like an easier way? i have like more than 300 tracks that i need to edit with in 3 days because im gonna be homeless after that :(

Interesting technique, but most of the time the waveforms of the two tracks just don't match that well and you can't extract clean vocals. IMO you're better off getting Adobe Audition and using the center channel extractor effect.

@TheSapphireTalent this is how get REMOVE the backing so you just have the sound.

Haha how embarrassing, I didn't know that you could slide one track next to the other. (3:13) I would always delete ultra tiny silent portions of one of the tracks and hope it would line up well with the other (Which was a HUGE pain!). XD
Thanks for showing me this, it was a huge help in making my projects sound better, and making my life easier! (Well, the next one, I mean. I'm in the middle of doing one now, so I can't start using the slide tool until I do the next song.)

I know it seems lazy of me, but do you think I can send you the tracks and you isolate the audio for me? I can't match it up
What if you can't get an instrumental..?
