Né La Thiass (Gone In A Flash) You can be going in a straight line Né La Thiass (Gone In A Flash) You can be going in a straight line Sure of your direction But along the way Many things can happen Along your path Which has all been planned The wind of destiny changes everything And you lose your way Then you are desperate Ready to abandon hope You thought you were strong Protected from every ill wind Destiny is so strong For it can change everything Even the rich Can become poor

This song has nothing to do with Bobo Dioulasso.
Cheikh Lo tells the tales of the most known religious figure in Senegal, Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba, also known as Serigne Touba, who spiritually resisted against the French colonization and was deported to Gabon for 7 years before coming back to Senegal.

What language does he sing? I heard his song in a movie and I totally fell in love with it, it's Bobo Dioulasso (too bad I can't find it on Youtube)

He sings in Wolof. Bobo Dioulasso is a town in Burkina Faso. I've bin there. This song is about Burkina, but I don't know what the lyrics mean. I listen to this song for quite some time now, it's the Sabaar rhythm and the melody what makes this an amazing song to me.

thank you, Wolof must be some native language.

Yes, it is the language of the tribe with the same name. Mostly spoken in Senegal. But as you probably know, the borders of African countries has nothing to do with the area's of the tribes.
