This is me playing Sweet Child 'O Mine from the album APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION

THE SONG IS PLAYED WITH THE GUITAR TUNED HALF STEP UPPER THAN THE ORIGINAL ONE BECAUSE THE BACKING TRACK WAS RECORDED IN STANDARD TUNING.

I think the best thing in this video is the MSN Messenger sound as the solo start hahahahaha :P..however the guitar is a Gibson Les Paul Standard MADE IN U.S.A. of course..the ampli is one of those little Ibanez ampli you get when you buy your first guitar..it's small and it sounds a little crappy, but it's good to have some training at home with low volumes.

You can get some good ampli sound by checking my others videos..you'll see my marshall jvm 100 watt..so enjoy this video and check the others..

Hope You like it!

Peace

  • i reckon this video was awesome for 2 reasons

    1) your playing is fantastic

    2) because u added notes in urs that werent in the orginal which made it YOUR cover

great playing keep it up (Y)

  • hahaha that's a nice comment, thanks :)

  • TUNE

  • yee i know..keep on waiting there's some better done version coming up soon

  • i'm about to buy a new amp for this sound.

which amp should i buy (i don't really know). i have about 50 euro's to spend.

    grts Bas

  • well i think 50 euros aren't enough to buy a new decent amp. Maybe you can find some used ibanez amp that doesn't cost too much, but i suggest you to wait a little more and save money to get a better amp in the future..

  • Covers are supposed to be personalized. People like to add there own twists like different effects, tones, solos, etc. Most people aren't trying to copy the sound exactly, what's the fun of going through all the covers on YouTube if they're just going to sound exactly like the originals? Just thought I'd put that out there.
