  • @APeacefulEnd Smashing Pumpkins weren't grunge.

Grunge is the best term to describe all the Seattle bands from that time. Melvins, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, TAD, Mudhoney, all of them have a heavy, dirty sound influenced by punk and heavy metal. It's not an insult, Mark Arm even coined the term. Only artist that truly hated being called Grunge was Kurt because of what it became.

And don't pull the "I'm a bigger fan, I know more than you" bullshit please.

  • @donwantstobesedated Jesus christ man, do some extensive research! The music from the 90s was not "Grunge" It never existed and trust me I am a bigger fan then you are of that specific music you call grunge. I write shit that could be called grunge and you should know it is an insult to the artists to call it that. Nirvana even has a song called "No Body Knows I'm New Wave". And how the hell did sound garden the melvins nirvana smashing pumpkins and pearl jam even get thrown into the samegernre

  • LUV U

  • okay, honestly, you dress up in flannel, you have long hair, and you sound like you do, and you're not going for "grunge?"
