We know that, but the solstice has a 2.4 L and 4 Cyl.

The GTO has 8 Cyl. The solstice is as fast as the gto. =)

@mustangmikeca Do you spend all day on youtube looking for videos about GM vs other cars? Thats all I see....The money you just invested into that S2000, can as well be invested into the GXP, making it still faster numbnuts. The twinscroll K04 can easily be replaced with something in the neighborhood for 500whp for less then 2k. The S2000 would not even get a turbo kit for that price.

Against the 350 HP 2004 GTO maybe. Even that would be pushing it considering the 04' GTO runs 13.7-13.8 @ 104+ *The 400 HP GTO runs low 13's @ 108+ with those pizza cutter factory tires. **For the money, that Solstice/Sky really hauls ass though. I do like these cars alot, including the GXP coupe. I used to sell Buick, Pontiac & GMC Trucks when I was a car salesman. Ever since then, I gained alot of respect for GM. Especially now that they made all these improvements =D

at the same time u guys fail to realize that the solstice is 260hp, along with much lighter weight than the gto, power to weight is going towards the solstice, i like the gto but honestly stock vs stock it would be a good match.....

well, it's pretty obvious who has better handling just by pretty much looking at how much the solstice weights compared to the GTO. but also don't forget that they are in different categories. The GTO is a more of a softer more luxurious sports coupe, while the solstice/sky is a small and fun convertible sports car.
