Channeling her inner Grace Jones, a boldy dressed Rihanna attended the Intermix celebration of Fashions Night Out at in New York City on Thursday night.

Sporting a hooded frock and her famous Barracuda glasses from A-Morir, the Disturbia singer rubbed elbows with fashions finest on New York Fashion Weeks inaugural evening.

Rihanna caused so much of a uproar during her five-minute lap around the trendy retailer that one fan knocked over a rack, causing a bag to fall over and hit another patron on the head.

Meanwhile, Rihanna — who most recently has been linked to rapper and label mate Fabolous will make her way to L.A. this weekend to tend to a jam-packed agenda. After spending Saturday rehearsing for Mondays performance on the premiere of The Jay Leno Show alongside Jay-Z and Kanye West, Riri will undoubtedly glam things up once again for Sunday nights MTV Video Music Awards.
