  • Okay I am with Saguaro. i also know Sean Burke personally I have for 15 years. He DID NOT beat his wife. This was a media stunt pulled by the Carolina |Hurricanes to trade him, He had an demestic despute yes, but that dooesnt mean he beat her. Get both sides of the story before you start posting stuff

  • "In February 1998, Burke pleaded guilty to beating his wife on November 2 and was ordered to complete a domestic violence program within the next six months after and pay a $200 fine. Burke was on probation for the next 18 months. Burke was traded to the Vancouver Canucks shortly after." That was taken from Wikipedia so I think he did actually. But he was one hell of a goalie.

  • Umm sorry Certified Armorer just to let you know Sean Burke DIDNT BEAT HIS WIFE!! I know him personllly so dont start stuff you dont know! (:

  • Burke was the man - except for beating his wife and constant back spasms! At least he played guitar!!! How many people can say they played goalie in the NHL and were in Guitar World! what a career.
