This is for the Nick-Ellis Summer Contest.

This is the reason;
This started as a game for Nick and Ellis
(We had fire in our eyes,
In the beginning I
Never felt so alive
In the beginning)
Nick tries to hold back the things he feels.
(0:24 - Nick knows Ellis remembers each Keith story because Keith was unforgettable to Ellis)
They knew that once they were saved, the team would be slip up.
(We had time on our side)
And Nick cares about Ellis.

But then he started to put away from the hick
(You blame me but)
Nick never wanted their friendship to die.
(I swear I never meant to let it die)
When Ells asks about why he is pulling away from him, Nick replied
"(I just don't care about you anymore)"
Nick really cares for Ellis but he can't be friends with Ells anymore because Nick loves him. Nick Knows they'll be slip up, once they're saved, one of them could be killed before they get there and Ellis could freak out, leave and both would feel the heartache.
(It's not fair when you say that I didn't try)
The words ran round Ellis

(1:35 - Ellis thought what happens to them was a Keith story, it warms Nick's heart to know that once they slip a part Ellis will still remember him.
