Vlog X - SOPA Won't Work!! (Stupid Ornery-Persons' Agenda)

SOPA is one of the worst legislative events in recent history. It's trying to stop online piracy, but it won't work. It effectively censors us. It's going to force users around the world to use services (like search engines) from other countries. Let's not forget that Google, Facebook, YouTube, etc generate a LOT of money.

My beef with the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA), and PIPA for that matter, isn't the fact that sites will be unconditionally taken down. My problem is that there are people who have too much pride and ego to admit that this potential bill could ruin the internet for the world. Apocalypse 2012?!

I wonder if that Friday ring tone actually exists and what Rebecca Black would say about it...

Two things, SOPA and PIPA got dropped today! Also I totally agree with you niether of these bills would stop piracy. If you look through history crime evolves with new laws and technology. If this law was passed I'm sure in a month there would be a new way to access pirated videos or music.
