Catch a glimpse of some of the shooting spots for Spielberg's classic "E.T." (1983), including Elliott's house and the street where the kids take off and fly on their bicycles...

  • Everything looked so much cooler in the 80s

  • @Nitelathe I had some pictures of the Station Fire where the flames reached the back yard of the house. The Firefighters were right there on the hoses. They probably didn't know the house was famous. The neighborhood was saved.

  • @TheBeachdreams

Yes the "goodbye" scene was shot indoors as well as the in home shots.

  • Ace video. Brings back memories of me and my pals racing down the street on our bikes trying in vain to lift off the ground in to the air. Hehehe.

Oh to be young and innocent again.....

  • Did they use the interior for filming too?

  • Would someone tell me if the house is still there? I never knew there was a wild fire on the hills behind the house. Is it still standing?

  • @RodrigoMJ32 no y do u ask?

  • @bgraff1lsu awesome, ever gotten a brain transplant?
