Adam says everything its taken me years to realize, but he missed something, he forgot to say that even if you dont finish what your trying to make, you have solved problems in the process that will snowball your skills to the point where things basically make themselvs at your own hand. Don't let yourself feel a lack of accomplishment for not finishing what your trying to make. Thanks Adam for telling the world.

very awesome and inspiring speech. I like how what he says can apply to other forms of creation and art such as poetry, writing stories, painting, etc...

It's true and some technologies are actually making our planet worse such as: Refining and using of oil, plastics, and the heavy labor demands put on China. From here we will either figure out ways to counterbalance our tech footprint, or we will continue until we ruin ourselves. We need more thinkers are we're doomed.

In response to kids making things from "pop culture" vs "new" things, kids have to start somewhere. For example, a young guitarist will start playing well known rock songs before they start creating their own music. Part of the learning process is imitating the things you admire. Once you develop those basic skills, you then are able to apply them to creating brand new things. It's REALLY, REALLY HARD to do that right off the bat.
