It's a 'decent' explanation if you know electronics or if you know how a speaker works already. Otherwise I have to agree with the layperson that it just shows you what a 9V battery does to a speaker. What's the point of that? Also, for anyone that cares, it is the same principal for a woofer, subwoofer, tweeter etc. There are also different types of speakers that work in different ways. Starting to get confusing? Perhaps another video will do a better job of explanation...

wow speakers are that simple? well the device itself is simple but the computers/ radios have to do tons of processing to get the music we know and love. imagine when a guitar, a singer, a pianist are all making noise at once. the speakers has to replicate all those natural frequencies. it doesn't seem like much but really its quite amazing. it is the ultimate instrument lol, humans just can't play it

you are showing how speaker responds when a 9V battery is connected.
