Fucking great. I hope you'll find a good pint soon. I told some friends of mine about your problem and we haven't a solution you have not tried yet, but If I ever know about one, be sure I'll tell you.

0:51 - What did you use to cut the foam like that?
Gojira73rules 2 years ago
just scissors, these are just rough drafts. what i'm doing now is taking large foam pieces in a diamond shape, then cutting the top edges at a 45 degree angle half way into the foam. its tedious work, but its doable.

Are you gonna take it to g-fest?

i'm confident i'll have it done by G-fest. still working with some paint issues, the rest of the spikes and setting the "whole" head up.
ps (there will be a functioning lower jaw :) )

Have you tried to use something called "Tool Dip" it can coat surfaces, It comes in black and yellow?
Have you tried fabric paints? Get the type that gets painted on.Tthey even have fabric paints that will puff up, which may help smooth over the finish. I'm not sure how much you will need, because it generally comes in smaller jars or bottles. It is designed to withstand bending, so it usually doesn't crack... and it shouldn't peel off if you let it set for more than three days.
