UP 3889 highballs a westbound stack train through Lockport, IL. on the BNSF Chillicothe Subdivision. UP 3889 has a sick horn. Many of the UP SD70M's have horns like that. As the train was approaching, it created a dust storm. ComEd is visible in the background.

Filmed on March 12th, 2008.

  • yah quite differnt from the horns heard on those Russian engines I have found while over there especilly the older electrics I thought he Russian engines were fascinating to photograph ..but actully this horn sort of sounds like some I heard there if it wasnt plugged up it would have been alot louder ..I was there in June and rode behind a nice P36 4-8-4
