The finale of the New Year's Eve fireworks to usher in 2012, in Lisbon, Portugal, over the Tagus River.
High above the area where I viewed the show from, there is a cable car line, although the cable cars do not run at night. In this video you can see the wire that they run along, as well as one of the empty cable cars hanging overhead, silhouetted against the backdrop of the exploding pyrotechnics.
