  • @connorbanagan18 Certain leagues certainly may have their own rules, but under MLB rules the dirt and grass areas are meaningless. A shortstop who is positioned on the outfield grass to start a play will certainly be able to catch a pop-up a few feet behind him.

  • @JaronBog I think it was more because I wanted to be through in the description of the rule and explain why it exists. Most of these videos are made for people who have never played the game and do not have a firm understanding of basball. You are free to fast-forward at any point.

  • it took you 9min to explain the infield fly rule. If it takes that long for the rule to be explained you don't care about basball. thanks for wasting my time.
