Judge Edward M. Chen's Testimony Before Senate Judiciary Committee for the confirmation as a federal district judge. Judge Edward Chen was nominated to the district court in Northern District of California.

Senator Jeff Sessions (R) commented that Senator Al Franken (D) always had good timing. Senator Dianne Feinstein stated she knew what Senator Sessions was going and asserted that Judge Chen was fair. The American Justice Group has submitted documents in opposition to Chen's nomination to the federal bench.

The Senate Judiciary Committee has 12 Democrats and 7 Republicans.
