Fom the Gandulf Hennig film FALLEN ANGEL. I was in the superdome during Katrina and met this cat obsessed with Gram Parsons. said he met his sister, been up to the house, etc I had heard "sweetheart of the rodeo" so I knew a little bit about Gram. when i got out i bought the gp/grievous angel cd and "gilded palace of sin" and kinda became a little obsessed myself. later i found the FALLEN ANGEL dvd at best buy and It's a great film! backs up everything that dude in the dome said about Gram. I claim FAIR USE in posting this clip and encourage everybody to rent or buy this fantastic and one of the best rock documentaries I have ever seen.

Saw Chris and Herb Pedersen in concert a few years back. Hard to believe his fine singing voice was never featured in the early days of The Byrds.

Thank God for Chris Hillman; sober, articulate and with a mind crisp clear. Whithout him this documentary (and it's a good one!), couldn't have been recorded in a meaningful way I think. Salute and Cheers Chris!

Ditto. Sad Gram didn't make it. He was just getting started.

I thought this was a picture of John Lennon and George Harrison in the related videos.

They were called Dixiecrats...not Democrats as I live in South Mississippi now they are Republicans. Did Gram even have a draft card? Much less a political party...One thing Muscicians didn't want , was to be drafted. I bet the ecord companies were very influential and kept that front and center. Jimi Hendrix served before fame in England.

lets see- Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, George Jones...alcohol is one of the worst drugs. One thing Gram was not was a sleazy rock and roller-drug abuser no doubt but he had talent that can't be denied. What a boring world it would be if everyone liked the same things.

Did anyone see GP in the 60s or early 70s ? GP and his and Emmylou's Albums think about Hillman ,Souther and Furay ,Chris's solos ,people definitely grow and sometimes shrink ,there was and is a white\powder that has ruined more groups and singers Alcohol is the worst drug even in country,I agree without Chris Hillman's huge heart \
