I tried breadboarding this with all of the parts but it's not working for me. The receiver LED stays red and never turns green, so I'm assuming its not getting any of the transmitter packets. I haven't hooked up the O-Scope to see whats going wrong, but any idea what it may be?

So, 1) I didnt see you do it, but I have a regular snes with (wired controllers), so can you use that wireless controller with a snes? & is so, 2) WHY ARENT YOU SELLING THESE?1? or at least showing an easy way how to make them like you did.

Nice thing!
Is it possible to connect more than just one controller to a single receiver? Would be very nice for multiplayer gaming!
how do you connect it to the wii??

The receiver plugs into the gamecube controller port and uses that ports protocol to communicate with the Wii.

Could this be done with a classic controller, so that you can use it to play Gamecube games wirelessly?

Oberonjames....the communication protocol between the classic controller and the Wiimote has been cracked, so in theory it would be possible with faster microcontroller and Wifi chips than the ones I used. Not sure if the classic has enough free space inside though...
