Trusting Russia Without Verifying Is A Bad Idea Says Obama

In this week's address, President Obama calls ratifying New START this year "fundamental" to America's national security. Failure to ratify the treaty this year not only would mean losing our nuclear inspectors in Russia, but also it would undermine the international coalition pressuring Iran, put to risk the transit routes used to equip our troops in Afghanistan, and undo decades of American leadership and bipartisanship on nuclear security. The President says after six months, 18 hearings, and nearly one thousand questions answered and with the support of several Republicans including Colin Powell, George Schultz, Jim Baker, and Henry Kissinger, it is time for the Senate to act.

New START - 2ed. America has been proved to be a dork in WMD control. Every country that have it is because US failed in control it. America should give up all the Israel nuclear weapons under custody in North-Korea and US nuclear weapons being stockpiled in Cuba. And then, just then, Russia will allow US to know some details about their arsenal, like near Chernobyl.

@johnofthedead Actually they do, I worked when they came to inspect ours, it was actually funny all of them toured around in a shitty tour bus and was hearded around like a bunch of pigs and only a few were allowed to look and "inspect" at a time it was funny.

What I am trying to get at is.... Simple as you put it...

If we 'get to prance around Russia and check their "nuclear arsenal", and 'verify' their shit... WHAT DO THEY GET OUT OF THE DEAL? No way you asked them to play hide and go find discrepancies in nuclear arms with Russia without promising them SOMETHING. I want to hear Russia's end of the deal.. What do they get? Tell me both sides of the story.
