Regardless of whether you believe we went to the moon or not, the fact remains that three men died in what was to be the first manned Apollo mission. As part of the recent 40th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing, we explore the the dark and disturbing truth regarding the Apollo 1 mission. Be prepared to dig deep into the conflicting statements, known safety violations, and backpedalling that went into the preparations and aftermath of Apollo 1.

It is clear that NASA and North American Aviation planned the Apollo 1 fire and let Grissom and his crew die, and have effectively covered up the truth of what happened that day. If it wasn't murder, it was severe negligence in the extreme.

BTW. to the best of my knowledge the Lemon was hung on the simulator prior to the "Plugs Out" test to show their desdain to the "Whole" Spacecraft (Flight hardware)

4:24...This qoute was actually made DURING the "Plugs Out" test on January 27th..this is why there were so many holds and the test drug into the night....They had major communication problems that test/night to deal with. No lemons after that...They died before they could get out to do so.
