  • hi planing to buy a koko boost pedal so where im goin to put???is it before the od pedal or after od pedal...this is my pedals......wha-tc tuner-koko boost-toadworks texas flood-suhr riot-tc nova delay.......can u tell me the proper set up thanks...

  • @ichi612

The Koko Boost will work well as a tone shaper, so before the drives is good. The mid boost can shape your sound first and the boost can kick it up a bit if needed.

    Gary.

  • When are you doing a demo of the riot?

  • The Riot has only just coming off the line. Shipping next week. I'll post a clip as soon as I can.

    Gary.

  • I'm using a Suhr Badger 18 Head into a CAA 2x12 cab with Eminence Governors. Amp gain is 3 to 4, pretty clean. The pedals work well with every amp I've plugged into, clean or on the edge of breakup. THe Koko Boost will also push an already distorted channel a bit more and give you the mid boost eq if you want it, very cool.

    Gary.

  • @GuitarToneshop re: Shiba Drive. What is buzzing? Are you using clean power? Is the pedal buzzing, or your equipment?

  • @GuitarToneshop ok thank you i will try to put my koko boost in front of my drive thanks

  • Thanks v much for this; I've been looking for subtleand colourful pedals with depth for a long time, and these work. Very clear demo. Boogie on.

  • Thanks Gary for the fine service and price on the Shiba Overdrive, you have won a customer for life.

    Cheers

  • what amp you use?
