In honor of all those Lutheran papas who made sure we got out of bed on Sunday morning, who taught us to pray, and who didn't let our mothers bear the burden of raising us in the faith all by themselves.

  • What's the music used at the beginning and end called?

  • @grizspod "Rhapsody in Blue" by George Gershwin.

  • I'm glad my parents told me that we could go to church if we wanted to but that it was up to us. Saying that if we don't send our kids to church is like endangering their immortals souls is ugly and cruel manipulation used by tyrants on stupid people. I'm glad I don't waste my time, money or effort on religion. Lutheranism is shrinking away to nothing and this shows one of the reasons why.

  • @NixonisLord Totally proving my point here.

  • @HeavenlyFloodofRegen naturally you have proof of this fantasy figure's existence? If he was absolutely perfect in his message, why are there three main and thousands of minor variations on it, all certain of their own righteousness? I can prove that using a flush toilet and washing your hands will improve your health and the health of those around you. I can also provide statistics on the differences in health, education and crime for devout and agnostic countries.

  • @NixonisLord I'm glad my parents told me that we could use a toilet if we wanted but it was up to us. Saying that if we don't send our kids to the toilet is like endangering their physical constitution is ugly and cruel manipulation used by tyrants on stupid people. I'm glad I don't waste my time, money, or effort on sanitation.

Your real problem is authority figures. By not wasting your time on Christ, you are wasting the only authority figure you can really admire, respect, and trust.

  • womanwonder, if you were robbed of something irreplaceable (time) by nonsense, you would also be bitter. Which proves your point-how? If you have the wrong emotional state, your facts fall automatically? You have to say everything with a smile? You don't see these churches' own membership figures? And their reports from their own leadership? Really? They're easy to find. God cannot quit-he's never begun. Thanks for the threat of eternal punishment-really feeling the xtian love.

  • Lutheranism has all the vibrant diversity of cream cheese. And the Missouri Synod and the ELCA will both be extinct if the membership trends of the past 35 years are any indications by 2050: do the math. And I've been to Lutheran churches-had to take No-Doz to stay upright.

  • Yada yada ....I am GLAD my parents took me to church!! I was not forced--didn't have 2 be. I loved it and thank God 4 the faith I have today. Someone sounds alittle bitter. I don't see Christianity shrinking. And there are alot of strong, growing Lutheran Churches around. God is not a quitter.Neither are His many churches!!!!! Your soul is a forever thing. You will see that someday and I pray that happens b4 your death or His return!! Doesn't look like a very popular bunch of videos, O' Hans.

  • Best one yet!

  • @TheLutheranSatire HAHA....my favorite is the "Awsome Evangelism ideas" and "Mutant Powers".....lol!!! MAKE MORE PLZZZ

  • Hey! I like Captian Crunch!!!
